Openroad Cares Program

Since 2010, the OpenRoad Cares charitable giving program has proudly supported dozens of local community and not-for-profit groups. Charitable contributions are part of OpenRoad Auto Group and the ownership family's many philanthropic efforts to support early learning, adult education, multiculturalism, health care, and other community causes.
Over the years, OpenRoad Cares has supported the Make-A-Wish Foundation BC & Yukon, Canuck Place Children's Hospice, Peace Arch Hospital Foundation, Canadian Cancer Society, and RAPS Richmond Animal Protection Society, amongst many others.
Carol and Christian Chia have also been involved in fundraising efforts supporting the Vancouver Public Library, with OpenRoad Auto Group being a major Creators Circle sponsor of the Foundation's inaugural gala.
In addition to children's and teens' programming, the Chia family have recently supported higher learning through a major gift to the Sauder School of Business at the University of British Columbia, as well as child health through the donation of a “reverspective” work by British artist Patrick Hughes that raised funds for the BC Children’s Hospital Foundation.
